My life

As a freethinker, lateral thinker and visionary I offer you new perspectives for spontaneous ideas, creative designs, attractive concepts and visualisations in any sector in an interplay between custom, tolerance and holistic creativity.

I do not find it easy to describe myself because I, like everything else, am in a state of constant flux. That is why I do not believe we see things as they are. We see them as we are.

Consulting for River Advise – Basel /Switzerland. Contract base for launching a new recruitment system in central Europe. Traveling to the different country’s demonstrate and integrate the new system. Guest speaker at the international River fleet fair in Hamburg / Germany

2014 – 2016

Leading the “Underneath the Mango Tree” Hotel and Ayurveda / Spa in Dickwella, Sri Lanka as Director. Report to the Investors, train HOD incl. Spa Manager and four Ayurveda doctors. Online marketing, headhunt chef de cuisine and develop new high quality menus. Cost control, budgeting, analytics . Being the reference person for owners, guest and total staff.

2013 – 2014

Concept development for the ‘Underneath the Mango Tree Hotel & Spa. Property finding, dealing with department of land & sea as well as architects, handling the sell, overview construction, recruiting and staff training in the pre opening phase. Starting online marketing, integrating new hotel hardand software. Train Head of Departments with regular briefings in terms of the expectations from European customers

2011 – 2012

Director of Operation, Global R. Cruises/Uni World – CH In charge of the hole fleet in Europe (16 ships), close work with Hotel Managers, training restaurant and front office staff, teaching communication skills and making business forecasts. Launching new recruitment systems in eastern Europe.

2006 – 2010

Director of Operations for AGH Mountain Resort – Austria Managing three mountain chalets with a total capacity of 190 rooms. In charge of daily operations, training, budgeting and profitability. Developing marketing tools especially for mountain chalets. Working out tailor made and specialized staff recruiting systems to attract workers from eastern European country’s.

2004 –2005

Operations Manager F&B for the international Davis Cup USA / Russia. Host for the USA team. Organizing the hole catering event in cooperation with a (provided) Russian team. A strong ability to empathize, patience and diplomatic business practices where needed there.

1998 – 2003

Consultant and Director of Operations at Blancaneaux Lodge, by Francis F. Coppola Training staff, especially HOD, introducing selling techniques, establishing new cost control systems, marketing by presenting the Belize Resorts at international fairs. In charge of the VIP’s (many famous actors).

1993 – 1997

Resort Director, Gmunden Beach Resort, Austria Concept development and pre opening management. Guiding & leading the operation with up to 2000 visitors daily. Handling big logistic challenges and finance control.

1992 – 1993

Maître d’hôtel – Four Seasons Restaurant for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Miami – USA. Running the day by day operations and use the restaurant facilities as a training centre to coach staff before entering the vessels.
